About Me

I am a wife, and a mother of 2 young children. I ran a home daycare in my home and I also own a small company, Maus Wear.  I just recently started up Grunge Silver Studio, I make silver and copper jewelry.  Before I had my children I taught cycling classes at the fitness club I belong to. I actually taught up to my due date with my first child. However, he was 10 days late so I had to wait. I did return to teaching after 2 months of giving birth.  After having my daughter in 2008, I did not return to teaching and the baby weight was still with me. And once she turned 3 years old year in February of 2011, I had to get serious about this.  And that's what I did on May 27th, 2011.

This picture here WAS me back in May of 2011>>>>>

<<<<This WAS me about 6 months after I began my journey to A Healthier Version of Me

22 lbs down and feeling fantastic.  I was glad to see those rolls go away.
Photos were taken by my little girl and have NOT been altered in a way.  The blurriness is all natural with having a 3 year old snapping the pictures. LOL

This picture was me after completing Jillian Michaels 90-Day Body Revolution Program in May of 2012.  Almost a year after I began my journey, I was down 45 lbs in total>>>>>>>>

Why I Want To Get In Shape and Become A Healthier Version of Me...

To feel better about myself when I look in the mirror
To set a good example for my children so that they grow up being healthy and strong
To be able to watch my children grow up
•To help inspire others to do the same
•To live a long, healthy and happy life

It is good to have a board or a wall or a book filled with things that inspire you.  Have it placed somewhere where you will see it everyday to keep yourself motivated.  Here are some of mine...

It also comes from within...
if you want it bad enough, you will keep pushing until you reach your goals.

Don't let stress get in your way...
